Florida Forum 2009-2010 SERIES Florida Forum is an annual speaker series begun in 1992 produced by The Women's Board of Wolfson Children's Hospital, funding select areas within this pediatric health care facility. Each Florida Forum season features high-profile personalities who address informative and entertaining topics. At the end of each speech is an open forum in which the audience participates. Following the evening's speech, Florida Forum major donors enjoy the company of the guest speaker at a private reception. Patrons of Florida Forum are representative of the diversity of the Jacksonville community and the speakers are selected by the Florida Forum chairs and their Forum Advisory Board. The companies choosing to be Florida Forum Presenters receive prominent recognition through advertising and media exposure. Each Presenter sponsors one of the seasons' four speakers, and is featured for that evening. The Florida Forum has enriched the intellectual and cultural life of Jacksonville, while contributing more than $2,900,000 to enhance the medical programs and facilities of Wolfson Children's Hospital. Florida Forum seasons continue to be popular, sold out events providing exciting, history making evenings for Jacksonville citizens to experience. |
