  • The First Coast Design Show: Antiques • Art • Gardens

    DECEMBER 4-7, 2025

Over four days, explore a curated collection of antiques, art, and garden displays from the nation’s finest designers and dealers at the First Coast Design Show. This year’s theme, “The Art of Home,” celebrates the spaces we cherish and the stories they hold.
This beloved event features renowned design lectures, immersive experiences, and shopping from art and antique dealers—all in support of Wolfson Children’s Hospital and our funding target to create an outdoor pavilion for the hospital’s behavioral health unit.

A Place for Healing, Play, and Hope

The Women’s Board is helping create a safe outdoor play and healing space for children in the Behavioral Health & Wellness Unit—extending therapy through movement, creativity, and joy. This initiative also provides wrap-around family support during hospitalization and after discharge, meeting critical needs that rely on philanthropy.

Extending Healing Beyond Hospital Walls

Children facing behavioral health challenges deserve more than treatment—they deserve spaces that nurture joy, healing, and connection. With the support of The Women’s Board, the hospital will create an enclosed outdoor area designed specifically for young patients in the Behavioral Health & Wellness Unit. Here, children will be able to play, move, and engage with nature, extending the benefits of therapy into both structured and unstructured play. This space will give them moments of laughter, creativity, and freedom—even during hospitalization.

The Women’s Board’s gift will also fund a vital new position focused on wrap-around support for patients and families. From guiding families through hospitalization to providing resources and care after discharge, this role ensures no child or family has to navigate their journey alone. Because these services are not reimbursable, philanthropy makes them possible.

Through this initiative, The Women’s Board is helping children and families find comfort, strength, and healing at a time when they need it most.
